http://tmrowing.hatenablog.com/entry/2018/02/16/071840

Write & Improve / Beginner / A New Town

A note: New town
You now live in a new town.
Write a note to your friend Isabel about the town.
(about 30 words)

In your note:

  • tell Isabel where your town is
  • say what the main attractions in the town are
  • tell her about your favourite place in the town
  • and why you like it

1. About 50 words; A2-1

A new town I now live in is in A City in Yamaguchi Prefecture. The main attractions are B and C in the town. My favorite place is D Park. There are cherry blossoms over 100 along the river and they are in full bloom in every spring.

2. About 120 words; B1-3

It is almost a month since I started living in a new town, called A, in Yamaguchi Prefecture. It is located on the hill in the western part of Yamaguchi. My neighbors recommend some attractions in the town, such as a museum or an amusement park, but I do not find them so attractive. My favorite place, instead, is B Park in the center of the town. There are a lot of cherry trees along the river C, which flows by D. In late March or early April, they are in full bloom and you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing over 100m of both sides of the river. The beautiful cherry blossoms make me feel that spring has come!
